Time to Bake the Donuts!

I love Sur La Table because every time I go into that store, I see something new I want to try. During one recent visit, my husband picked up a donut pan, one you use to bake donuts vs. frying them. There were a few donut mixes to choose from, and we decided to try the Apple Cider Doughnuts from Stonewall Kitchen.

It was a little messy trying to get the batter into the rounds of the pan. Thank goodness I had pastry tips and bags on hand, otherwise there would have more mix on the counter than in the pan! Once I got through this part, the rest was easy. I would  recommend giving it a try. Take a look at the results.
